Elizabeth M'balu Oke

Elizabeth M’balu Oke is a Strategic Brand Marketing and Communications Consultant with over 15 years of experience in public health, economic development, community development, and governance initiatives.

As the President and Founder of PivotPath, she has partnered with government agencies, intergovernmental and community-based organizations, including the European Union, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and over a dozen government consultancy roles. These experiences helped Elizabeth understand the challenges and strategic approaches to effectively communicating with multicultural audiences, especially Black and Brown communities, in a real, recognizable, and relatable way.

She had dedicated her career to investigating the complexities of communicating with harder-to-reach communities and combating the disparities by promoting effective, measurable two-way dialogue through authentic communications. She has conducted dozens of focus groups, interviews, and surveys, which has helped her understand and overcome the common challenges to resonate with stakeholders in a real, recognizable, and relatable way. She has also developed and conducted capacity-building training seminars for international organizations to ensure sustainability practices. With every project, she has new and valuable insights that are poured back into the execution of her work.

Elizabeth’s Education Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Emory University
  • Master’s degree in International Policy Management from Kennesaw State University
  • Nonprofit Management certification from Harvard University

Elizabeth is the Gwinnett Chamber’s 2022 Emerging Entrepreneur recipient, Georgia Basin Advisory Council Member, member of the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Government Communicators, Black Marketers Association of America, For(bes) for the Culture and Board Director of Africa Development Promise. She is also a Start: M.E. mentor, Mastercard Foundation Global Give Back mentor, 2021 Best of Gwinnett winner, and Miss Sierra Leone USA 2007-2008.
