A Communications, Water Resources Management, and Development practitioner with over 12 years of professional experience in community mobilization, print and electronic media, corporate communication, natural resources management, and youth empowerment with institutions like the Government of Sierra Leone, United States Embassy in Freetown, United Nations Development Programme, European Union Elections Observation Mission, Cotton Tree News, BBC Media Action, Journalists for Human Rights, Student Partnership Worldwide (now Restless Development), etc.

He has tried his hands in print and electronic media, Advocacy, Development Management, Project Management, Strategic Communications, Social Media, Training facilitation, Governance and Compliance, Data Analysis and Reporting, Stakeholder Management. Budgetary Management and Cost Control, and Systems / Process Development and Improvement.

John enjoys using his hands and collaborating with others to get practical work done while learning new things in the process. He is passionate about working with minority groups and ensuring that communities are included in the development strides that change their stories. He loves fixing things around the house.

John loves the outdoors and he enjoys visiting the peninsula beaches and the countryside. Thinking of road trips, mud biking, skydiving, bungee jumping, or any extreme sport, count him in.
